Requirements
- A portfolio that showcases strong visual storytelling across mediums, with examples of styleframes, storyboards, and campaign concepting
- Experience collaborating with motion designers and production teams
- A strong sense of composition, color, and pacing, especially in motion contexts
- Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into strong, narrative visuals
- Comfortable leading creative projects or working autonomously when needed
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and storyboarding tools (After Effects a plus, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Concept and design storyboards and styleframes that bring brand and product stories to life
- Collaborate with motion designers, editors, and producers to develop narrative-driven assets for product launches, campaigns, and events
- Help evolve and maintain a visual storytelling system that reflects the voice, tone, and personality of the Figma brand
- Translate abstract or technical concepts into emotionally resonant, visually engaging creative
- Lead or support brand motion projects from early concepting through final delivery
- Explore new visual directions and creative formats, pushing the boundaries of how we tell stories
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to create basic animations or motion tests independently
- Interest in researching and experimenting with new animation tools, workflows, and technologies
- Experience designing for interactive narrative experiences (e.g., websites, microsites, immersive launches)
- Experience working on brand films, explainer videos, or product walkthroughs
