Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred, but not required
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, eager to explore new challenges and drive continuous improvement
  • Exhibit a strong sense of emotional ownership towards clients and stakeholders by maintaining high levels of responsiveness and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and oversee a range of equities-oriented strategies employed by long-only and hedge fund managers
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of strategies under review
  • Lead investment due diligence processes, including onsite visits, detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, and the presentation of investment recommendations
  • Coordinate diligence efforts internally across various functional teams
  • Identify and communicate emerging risks or potential opportunities associated with investments
  • Initiate and build relationships with investment teams and industry experts both within and outside of BlackRock to facilitate knowledge transfer and aid decision-making
  • Communicate domain expertise to sophisticated clients and BlackRock portfolio managers

Preferred Qualifications
