Requirements
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred, but not required
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, eager to explore new challenges and drive continuous improvement
- Exhibit a strong sense of emotional ownership towards clients and stakeholders by maintaining high levels of responsiveness and accountability
- Strong communication skills, with the right level of confidence and assertiveness, to present and promote ideas at all levels of the organization
- Outstanding academic credentials
- CFA certification or desire to complete the program
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and oversee a range of equities-oriented strategies employed by long-only and hedge fund managers
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of strategies under review
- Lead investment due diligence processes, including onsite visits, detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, and the presentation of investment recommendations
- Coordinate diligence efforts internally across various functional teams
- Identify and communicate emerging risks or potential opportunities associated with investments
- Initiate and build relationships with investment teams and industry experts both within and outside of BlackRock to facilitate knowledge transfer and aid decision-making
- Communicate domain expertise to sophisticated clients and BlackRock portfolio managers
Preferred Qualifications
