Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ Revit experience
• Passion for advancing Building Information Modeling (BIM) & Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) technology to enhance design & construction workflows
• Understanding of design and construction processes
• Knowledge of COBie standards
• Ability to proactively support staff with patience and a positive attitude
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to produce high quality work with minimal oversight in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Computer Programs: BIM/Clash Coordination (Revit, ACC/BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD), PDF Editing (Bluebeam), Computational BIM (Dynamo, Scripting), 3D Modeling (Rhino, 3ds Max), Image/Animation Editing (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere), Reality Capture (ReCap)

Responsibilities

• Train staff in BIM standards and best practices (Architectural, Interiors, MEP, Structural)
• Enhance our BIM standards and processes by working with department BIM leaders
• Automate tasks and augment design and documentation processes with Dynamo, coding, and AI tools
• Assist project teams with complex Revit setup and modeling requirements
• Troubleshoot Revit project issues
• Manage the Revit detail and family library and build custom Revit content
• Implement BIM/VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle such as visualization, modeling, virtual mock-ups, model-based take-offs and estimating, 3D clash coordination, logistics, and 4D staging diagrams
• Research and develop new ways to utilize BIM to enhance projects through various stages of design and construction
• Optional – Join our drone team as a pilot for project photography and photogrammetry
