Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst
  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada
  • Reliability Status: Must be eligible for and obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance through Sun Life
  • Good understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements
  • Skilled in test execution and understanding the outcomes
  • Technical aptitude and ability to translate technical jargon into business language
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with data requirements and related data activities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with technical and business personnel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed and/or ambiguous environments
  • Good multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and define user needs and translate them into system requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents
  • Work with the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization
  • Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation
  • Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation
  • Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting client-facing operations is an asset
  • Understanding of Call Centre practices is an asset
  • Knowledge of financial services industry is an asset
  • University degree in business or technology or an equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of OASIS and Member Enrolment (ME) tool is an asset
