Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL development and database management, with proficiency in complex query optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and analyze large datasets from various sources, including mobile devices, sensors, and user interactions, using SQL queries.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to clean, transform, and integrate data from disparate sources.
- Perform in-depth analysis of mobile device usage patterns, performance metrics, and user behaviors to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create and maintain documentation for data schemas, pipelines, and analysis methodologies.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in SQL technologies, big data frameworks, and mobile device trends to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of mobile device architectures, operating systems (Android), and mobile app development is a plus.
- Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automating ETL processes is also desirable.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing concepts.
- Experience with handling large-scale datasets and parallel processing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques for creating interactive dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib/seaborn).
- Understanding of mobile device performance metrics, sensor data, and Android internals is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Android development frameworks, APIs, and tools.
