Requirements
- Connecticut Property and Casualty license is required
- Experience with Personal lines of Insurance
- Customer Service skills are a must
- Some Sales skills are a must
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Act as the agency representative to clients, fellow professionals, the public, and the general business community
- Provide counsel & advice on new and/or additional insurance needs, explaining coverages & types of policies
- Identify risk exposures, qualifying potential prospects
- Maintain an underwriting renewal review process and a marketing renewal review program for all policyholders
- Act as the first line of contact in the reporting and assignment of claim information for designated policyholders
- Resolve general customer inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Personal Lines insurance industry is a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as being a team player
