Requirements
- Proven experience in BI Delivery and designing BI architectural patterns
- Deep subject matter expertise in BI tools, including Power BI and Tableau, including experiences with standardization
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, and skills in domain and the most advanced understanding of Business Intelligence Delivery practices
- Advanced knowledge of data management, data architecture, and data warehousing
- Strong problem-solving ability – candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, attention to details, and analytical skills and process orientations
- Ability to understand the long-term (‘big picture’) and short-term perspectives of situations
- Ability to lead and influence effectively across functions, lines of business, and technology teams
- Degree from a four-year college or university; MS is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing BI architecture for the strategic BI portfolio
- Partnering with Data and Solutions Architecture teams to ensure fit for purpose BI solutions
- Defining standards in reporting, data sourcing, naming conventions and other key areas in order to ensure standardization across certified BI products
- Working with BI Delivery teams
- Reviewing/providing insight into the overall delivery process and semantic framework
- Being the critical subject matter expert on deploying scalable BI solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance knowledge is not required but is a plus.
