Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR-related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
  • Monitor employee benefits data transmission to different vendors and develop and refine processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors and insurance providers for issues and solutions.
  • Conduct bi-weekly Benefits New Hire Orientations.
  • Assist in benefits enrollment processes, including new hires, life event changes, and open enrollment.
  • Assist with Leave of Absence request filing.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation in HRIS and other benefits platforms.
  • Support the development of benefits communication materials, such as newsletters, FAQs and wellness campaigns.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
  • Assist with U.S. and international benefits projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification.
  • Experience with benefits data analysis and reporting.
  • Previous experience working with large organizations or multi-state benefits administration.
