Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Capital sales experience required
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in capital equipment sales, and business to business sales
- Familiarity with the medical capital equipment market, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex sales scenarios and close deals
- A self-motivated individual with a results-driven mindset and a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Availability: Travel 60% (Southern United States Territory)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to develop effective sales strategies
- Proactively target sterile processing and perioperative directors to explain the benefits of SteriSystem
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations to understand their capital equipment needs and position our offerings as valuable solutions
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and values of the SteriSystem
- Conduct thorough site visits to gather a complete understanding of the customer’s space, goals, pain-points, and processes using pictures, videos, and drawings to develop a tailored proposal
- Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design tools, with the ability to create an accurate and effective drawings that illustrate the benefits of offerings
- Work closely with customers to understand their annual budgeting processes and align our solutions with their financial objectives
- Guide customers through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation, closure, and follow-up, ensuring a seamless and positive experience to ensure repeat customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical products specialists, leadership, distribution partners, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and customer-focused approach
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress against targets, and market feedback to the sales leadership team
