Requirements
- Candidate must possess a master’s degree.
- Candidate must be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst; if/when Michigan offers licensure for behavior analysts; candidates will be required to hold Michigan license as a behavior analyst.
- Thorough understanding of principals of behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and subsequently design behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
- Supervise Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts and/or Registered Behavior Technicians in the implementation of behavior analytic interventions.
- Work directly with parents and caregivers of children with a suspected diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, providing evidenced based parent mediated intervention services.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years’ experience working as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (preferred).
