Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation developing financial models used to support strategic investment decisions
  • Handling the due diligence process, working with lawyers and third-party consultants including independent engineers, environmental, market and insurance consultants to review material aspects of transactions
  • Conducting risk analysis based on key factors including project risks, transaction structure, and legal documentation to support the internal approval process for transactions across different infrastructure sectors
  • Developing financial models including experience with construction finance models, acquisition financing models, merger models and leverage buy-out models
  • Utilizing information in corporate financial statements and understanding the economic essence of important classes of complex business transactions
  • Working with transaction parties including issuers, lawyers, and rating agencies to prepare investor presentations, respond to investor inquiries, and ensure data accuracy and timely deal closure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate operations, business plans, and financial and economic forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses relating to the financing and debt structures of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, construction finance, and other kinds of financing
  • Develop financial models to value debt and equity for infrastructure construction, mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
  • Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions
  • Assist senior bankers in preparing plans for developing more business with clients based on the appropriateness of matching the bank’s product offerings with client needs
  • Review and assess detailed financial statements, related reports, and drafts to prepare financial documentation relating to a range of sophisticated and complex investment banking transactions
  • Provide recommendations that reflect the underlying economics of the firm’s transactions using lenses of accounting, economics, finance and strategy
  • Prepare and develop management discussion materials, offering memoranda and new business presentations detailing industry trends, business strategy, and corporate strategic options.
