Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience in software development and engineering principles.
- 2-4 years of experience in backend architecture.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.
- 2+ years of experience building GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Good understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with writing unit tests and end-to-end automation tests.
Responsibilities
- Work on the development lifecycle of our software products, from conception and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Implement scalable, high-performance software systems that meet the unique requirements of Medicare plan comparison and enrollment.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that exceed user expectations.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go is a plus.
