Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required; 5+ years preferred.
- Two years of employment at Tyson or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with processing floor operations and fresh meats processing is a plus; 5+ years of experience in fresh meats processing strongly preferred.
- HACCP certification and understanding of basic HACCP principles, including CCP monitoring verification, are a plus.
- Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections.
- Ability to use fixed ladders, stairs, steps, etc.
- Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility; the temperature in most areas ranges from 28 – 45 degrees.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to communicate with all levels of management.

Responsibilities
- Direct and Train Supervisors: Ensure supervisors are well-versed in all aspects of their roles.
- Performance Accountability: Oversee safety, quality, and workers’ compensation.
- Team Morale: Foster a positive work environment and address turnover and absenteeism.
- Problem Solving: Tackle issues as they arise to maintain smooth operations.
- Special Projects: Take on and motivate the team for special projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fresh meats processing strongly preferred.
- HACCP certification and understanding of basic HACCP principles, including CCP monitoring verification, are a plus.
