Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialty certification
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification
  • CNAPP/CSPM experience (Wiz, Sysdig)
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support various cybersecurity projects by developing requirements and implementing technical security tools and initiatives
  • Define and maintain the company’s cybersecurity policies and control frameworks to ensure consistent compliance
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to identify, select, and deploy technical controls aligned with security requirements
  • Build and document repeatable processes and standards to uphold ongoing security requirements
  • Administer and monitor security sensors, logs, alerts, and other detection mechanisms to proactively identify and respond to threats
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, CNAPP, and CSPM platforms
  • Manage and maintain network security configurations, including firewalls, AWS security groups, and Network ACLs
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies based on organizational needs and posture
  • Communicate cybersecurity activities, priorities, and risks to stakeholders across various levels of the organization
  • Provide security guidance and oversight throughout the SDLC and application development lifecycle
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with security best practices
