Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience building solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Active AWS Certification, preferably AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate.
  • Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Proven ability to create proposals, SOWs, estimates, and TCO analyses.
  • Experience running technical workshops and assessments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Bespin Sales Reps and build and nurture relationships with AWS Sellers and Solution Architects.
  • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions on the AWS platform.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients, understanding their business challenges and proposing appropriate AWS-based solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and architectural diagrams.
  • Create Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses.
  • Run technical workshops and assessments to understand client environments and needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of internal best practices and standards for cloud architecture.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop winning proposals and provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.
  • Identify and evaluate new cloud technologies and their potential impact on our business.
  • Experience with application development, infrastructure, databases, data platforms, and generative AI.
  • Understanding of AWS funding programs, such as MAP.
  • Actively engage with AWS sales and solutions architecture teams through frequent office visits and relationship building.
  • Collaborate effectively with Bespin Global’s sales teams in the New York region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-Cloud experience preferred – GCP, Azure
  • Experience with specific AWS services related to data platforms (e.g., Redshift, EMR, Glue), generative AI (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock), and databases (e.g., Aurora, DynamoDB).
  • Experience with AWS funding programs and navigating the application process.
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
