Requirements
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience with Audio Visual Systems design required; experience with large-scale, multi-family residential projects a plus.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) is required; Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Understand overall theory of audio visual, lighting controls, and shade controls.
Responsibilities
- Create audio/visual wiring diagrams, architectural drawings, calculations, and submittals for projects.
- Act as a resource, providing technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting and construction.
- Provide efficiency reviews and/or value engineering options for existing designs.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and project personnel.
- Work with business development team to design code-compliant, contract-compliant and cost-effective systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- A motivated computer-aided design and drafting modeling program guru who takes the time to do things right and focuses in on what’s important in an ever-changing environment.
- Familiarity with Crestron and/or Lutron preferred.
