Requirements
- Must have an active driver’s license issued by the state
- NY State Inspection License – REQUIRED or must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
- Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Possesses a full complement of personal hand tools
Responsibilities
- Meets D.O.T. requirements and CDL qualifications required by job assignment
- Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout the workday
- Sits infrequently, as required, throughout the workday
- Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Operates standard and manual transmission
- Operates power and pneumatic tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – PREFERRED
- Current documented automotive mechanical experience
- Three to five years of automotive maintenance experience
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and a personal computer
