Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years applied experience
- Proficient in coding in programming languages and tools to write test scripts, such as: Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, React, Cucumber, Cypress
- Experience writing automation scripts using espresso and XCUI
- Attention to detail and ability to meticulously document test results and defects in tracking tools, such as Jira
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers
- Hands-on experience in Analytics testing using Data watch and experience with Accessibility Testing (ADA WCAG 2.1 Checkpoints)
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Designs and maintains scalable test automation frameworks using Expresso (Android) and XCUITest (IOS)
- Integrates frameworks with CI/CD pipelines. (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions for continuous testing.)
- Writes, integrates, manages, and executes Gherkin scenarios using tools such as Cucumber BDD, Maven, Appium, Eclipse, IntelliJ, XCODE, and Android Studio, specifically for the Chase Mobile application
- Collaborates with product and design team to ensure mobile apps meet ADA accessibility standards and works closely with developers to triage and resolve issues quickly
- Identifies, documents, and tracks bugs using tools like JIRA, providing clear and reproducible steps
- Codes, test, and implements high quality Java/Selenium programs for automation of highly complex enterprise application system, running complex workflow engine and rich GUI, working as part of a global Agile team
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
