Requirements
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Oilfield Automation, Instrumentation, Production Operations, Process Control Device Integration or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Performs routine oilfield automation tasks under direct supervision, troubleshooting and providing assistance in the optimization of oilfield automation and communication systems.
- Collaborates with field personnel, the automation department, and engineering staff to implement and maintain automation equipment in the field.
- Assists in determining requirements, specifications, and recommendations for communication and automation equipment, contributing to efficient system operations.
- Assists in configuring Programmable Logic Controllers and Remote Terminal Units, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to industry standards.
- Provides operational and maintenance support to field personnel for automation equipment, fostering a collaborative approach to enhance overall efficiency.
- Contributes to the development of project scope, assessing automation and communication projects for internal evaluation and bidding processes.
- Supports the oversight of automation and communication contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Assists in the implementation and maintenance of automation equipment, contributing to a seamless integration of technologies in the oilfield environment.
- Recognizes, analyzes, and resolves routine automation problems, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.
- Possesses the right and obligation to stop work in unsafe conditions, contributing to a safe and secure working environment for all personnel.
