Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard litigation support tools and platforms, including Relativity, Opus2 and Brainspace.
  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery principles, tools, and workflows across the entire EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model) lifecycle.
  • Experience with web-hosted review platforms and data analytics technologies.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using programmatic tools including SQL, Excel macros, Access, or Python.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing tasks, work independently, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Adapt to changes in review protocols, deadlines, and team dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting litigation support projects is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise department specialists and/or analysts.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support in Relativity and other litigation technology tools.
  • Advise legal teams and clients on eDiscovery processes including early case assessment, preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and trial presentation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (e.g., project logs, processing instructions, requirements).
  • Formalize project communications, instructions, and change orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities.
  • Perform quality control reviews of data before releasing it to legal teams.
  • Build or coordinate the creation of litigation support databases to meet case requirements.
  • Use programmatic tools for scripting and to manipulate large datasets (e.g., deduplication, normalization, automation).
  • Train and support legal teams in using litigation support technologies.
  • Provide trial preparation and onsite trial support as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, including review platform providers.
  • Research and evaluate new litigation and practice area tools.
  • Manage litigation support software upgrades and conduct testing.
  • Provide technical guidance on the use of corporate data rooms, secure data transfers, and collaboration tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
