Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business management or equivalent technical or quantitative educational background.
- 5-6 years of related work experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Project management experience and Data Literacy along with roadmap development and execution experience to mature a program.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity to deliver effective and timely results.
- Good understanding of accounting processes. Company specific knowledge a plus.
- Understanding of Internal Audit and Business Processes and methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to draw accurate conclusions from disparate pieces of information along with the ability to work through differing stakeholder preferences.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated ability to independently learn business processes and apply knowledge to projects.
- Must have a keen attention to detail, be curious and have skilled professional judgement.
- Flexibility to travel on an ‘as-needed’ basis to support the audit plan and special projects up to 15%.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates across the enterprise to facilitate the identification of data analytics use cases that support the annual risk assessment process, execution of the annual plan, fraud identification, and efficiency.
- Champions the Audit Analytics program within the organization, including periodically reporting the status and impact of Internal Audit Data analytics projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of underlying business processes, enterprise risk landscape, and internal audit methodology.
- Supports the identification and adoption of automated continuous monitoring projects throughout the organization.
- Nurtures solid relationships throughout the organization.
- Completes training to develop and maintain skills and professional certifications as applicable.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science, including AI, for future incorporation into the IA processes.
- Focus will be on developing monitoring tools and where possible helping implement compensating controls using data analytics.
- Proactively identify opportunities to use analytics by closely working with the IA auditors to gain efficiencies and create new reporting that will provide enhanced monitoring to the business.

Preferred Qualifications
- Other technical skills (SQL experience, Tableau experience, etc.) a plus.
