Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Speech, Audiology, or related field preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or patient care
- Experience with special needs populations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Friendly, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with hearing aid troubleshooting, Bluetooth pairing, and earmold pickups
- Support same-day clinic visits and respond to patient inquiries
- Manage device inventory, shipping/receiving, and order tracking
- Coordinate with audiologists and lab technicians to prepare for appointments
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing in electronic systems (e.g., TIMS)
- Travel to satellite clinics as needed
- Assist and counsel same day clinic patients independently with hearing aid repairs, supplies, earmold pick up and accessory Bluetooth pairing
- Document and bill for patient care services
- Schedule same day clinic patients for hearing aid cleanings, supplies, and repairs, and earmold pick up
- Respond timely to patient messages/calls and provider clinical messages
- Complete quality check of invoices with our negotiated prices and purchase order numbers
- Ship items back to manufacturer for repairs, remakes, or refunds via USPS, UPS, or FedEx
- Order hearing aids, accessories, and earmolds per Track aid or custom hearing aid forms
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Speech, Audiology, or related field preferred
