Requirements
- Master’s Degree In Audiology if graduated prior to 01/2008; Or
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology if graduated after 01/2008.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare)
- Current CA state Audiologist license – California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) – (ASHA)
- Ability to clearly communicate with both hearing and hearing impaired patients.
- Ability to use computers to write reports
- Ability to perform VNGs, ECoGs, ABRs, OAEs, and all aspects of Audiology evaluations.
Responsibilities
- To provide evaluation and treatment of audiological disorders to Sharp Rees-Stealy patients upon appropriate medical/professional referral, predominantly in an ambulatory setting, as part of a coordinated health care team.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years’ experience
- CA State Hearing Aide Dispensing license
- Ability to perform hearing aid evaluations, fitting and follow-up
- Cochlear Implant evaluations, mapping/follow-up, Baha evaluations and follow-up.
