Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years related experience
- BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
- PA State Licensed Athletic Trainer
- Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED)
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day preventative, ongoing, and rehabilitative medical care for student-athletes at Penn State Behrend.
- Acts as a liaison between external health care providers, doctors, and other medical professionals.
- Lead the departmental compliance efforts for AED/CPR training and organization.
- Plan and develop all departmental goals and objectives, assuring commitment to equity and inclusion in all aspects of student engagement with athletics, gender equity, and successful athletics experiences by all students.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree preferred
- More than 2 years of related experience could be considered desirable
