- Athletic Trainer | North Dakota Board of Athletic Training | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Athletic Trainer | Minnesota Board of Medical Practice | Within 6 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Responsibilities
- Assists with patient education involving the whole patient care and treatment plan according to validated skill level.
- Performs and functions as a first assistant by demonstrating appropriate skill level of procedures under the supervision of the Orthopedic Physician.
- Assists student athletes with physician referral and works with providers to return the athlete to play safely. Provides concussion management services utilizing IMPACT testing.
- Performs on-site injury assessment and treatment including first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS). Performs injury prevention services through identification of predisposing conditions and utilization of protective taping and bracing.
- Applies and removes all types of casts, appropriate dressings, splints, traction and other orthopedic appliances and equipment.
- Coordinates the administration of the athletic training program at assigned schools, including site visits, event coverage and sports related education and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
