Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-9 operators and ensure sufficient experienced, trained, qualified resources are available to manage ASU and Utilities.
- Administer Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) standards to ensure the protection of employees, contractors, the community, and the environment.
- Develop and maintain relationship with Eastman, TNNP and Air Products Southeast Bulk Gases teams.
- Ensure the facility is adequately integrated into the overall North American ASU operations.
- Direct and monitor Nitrogen and Utility production to efficiently meet customer requirements.
- Identify improvements to ASU and Utilities to enhance Air Products utilization of the assets.
- Focus on minimization operating costs and process performance management for the facility to meet the Nitrogen and Utility needs safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Responsible for the establishment of the procedures, systems and processes required to supply Nitrogen and Utility’s to the facility, using Air Products Management Systems as the foundation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Experience leading a team in operations.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in process engineering and / or operating environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of systems, tools and processes.
