Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in biological sciences.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the assigned technical area and procedures.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and regulatory standards like GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).
• Working knowledge of good clinical practices (GCP), laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.
• Experience with automation and specialized laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in laboratory calculations and quality control metrics.
• Strong computer, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual French-English.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and documenting routine laboratory testing procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Analyzing data to ensure procedures are on track and results fall within acceptable ranges.
• Identifying, documenting, and escalating any potential performance issues or unusual results.
• Preparing and uploading data analysis results to the LIMS system.
• Assisting with quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
• Preparing necessary solutions and buffers for analysis.
• Performing calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
