Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, insurance, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in underwriting or insurance, preferably in group benefits
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail

- Proficiency in relevant software tools
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze risk for group insurance products, including life, health, dental, and disability insurance
- Review and interpret data related to demographics, claims history, and financial conditions to determine appropriate premiums and coverage
- Assist in developing and modifying underwriting policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and profitability
- Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information and explain underwriting decisions
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with senior underwriters, actuaries, and other team members to ensure comprehensive risk evaluation and policy issuance
