Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Master’s degree preferred, in a field related to sustainable investing
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrates knowledge of both sustainable investing and investment analysis
- Exhibits a strong ability to understand the needs of different partners
- Evidence strong writing and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Runs analyses of different portfolios within the firm to evaluate their ESG characteristics
- Researches individual companies to understand their approach to ESG issues, including on proxy voting proposals, and assess the implications for financial outcomes
- Over time, develops sufficient expertise to assist with and eventually lead ESG engagements with companies
- Act as the team lead on client requests, RFPs and DDQs
- Assists with reporting for external frameworks such as the PRI and UK Stewardship Code
- Develops the firm’s knowledge about ESG regulations such as the EU SFDR
- Identifies new financially material ESG issues and develop plans to incorporate them in the firm’s investment processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred, in a field related to sustainable investing
