Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND a minimum of 1 year of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business process owner for designated financial workstreams with a focus driving on consistency, scalability, and operational excellence
- Design and redesign processes to enhance accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve end-to-end efficiency across financial operations
- Operationalize processes and support new ideas to improve overall expense management and reporting, with the support from more senior team members
- Identify obstacles within immediate scope and make recommendations to leadership for improvement opportunities
- Leverage insights and data to develop narratives and influence stakeholders with some guidance
- Collaborate with functional finance partners and systems teams to define and drive adoption of best practices
- Deliver clear, data-informed narratives and presentations to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Own ad-hoc analysis to test hypotheses and answer specific business questions
- Contribute to the development of a central repository for documentation, including maintaining processes for updates and revisions
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and onboarding efforts to promote process understanding and adherence across teams
- Support the culture and values of the organization, including diversity, inclusion, and belonging, by collaborating with and helping others; Participate in organization-wide events/initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process design or redesign, particularly in financial operations such as expense management (e.g., accrual processes)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, Tableau); familiarity with Python or R is a plus
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across functions
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset paired with strong analytical capabilities to tackle complex organizational issues
- Demonstrates strong ownership mentality and takes pride in delivering high-quality, impactful work
