Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science; medical laboratory technology; or cytotechnology (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a specific BSc)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of technical procedures, systems, and assigned laboratory functions
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Responsibilities
- Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards
- Conduct routine data analysis to ensure test results are within acceptable tolerances
- Identify potential performance errors and escalate concerns to senior lab personnel
- Prepare and upload data analysis results into the LIMS system under senior-level guidance
- Assist with quality investigations, deviations, and resolution processes
- Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis as required
- Support the review and update of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Guide entry-level staff in routine procedures and contribute to onboarding efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Proficiency in laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling
- Experience with laboratory automation and specialized equipment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
