Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with web applications and basic testing concepts
  • Willingness to learn test automation tools and frameworks
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (preferred)
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases accurately and document defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Perform manual regression testing across multiple features and environments
  • Identify basic functional defects and communicate findings effectively
  • Document test results clearly and provide accurate test status updates
  • Use test management tools effectively to track testing progress
  • Learn automation frameworks and tools under guidance from senior team members
  • Understand basic testing principles and methodologies
  • Participate in test case reviews and contribute to testing discussions
  • Develop understanding of system architecture and testing approaches
  • Seek and respond well to feedback from team members and mentors
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
  • Communicate clearly with team members and ask appropriate testing questions
  • Collaborate with developers on defect resolution and testing approaches
  • Document test issues for team visibility and follow established QA processes
  • Attend sprint planning and design sessions to understand feature requirements
  • Follow established QA processes and testing standards consistently
  • Complete assigned test tasks on schedule and manage personal workload
  • Identify opportunities for test improvements and share insights with the team
  • Learn testability concepts and identify basic testing scenarios early in development
  • Demonstrate curiosity about testing methodologies and quality practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates with strong technical foundation are welcome
