Requirements
- M.D. from accredited medical school
- Completion of approved urology residency training program
- Licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in urology
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research in urology and reproductive medicine
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and scholarly activity
Responsibilities
- Function as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics (UMHC), Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH), and Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC)
- Coverage of inpatient and outpatient cases
- Operating room supervision of residents and outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Centers
- Perform clinical activities through the University of Miami Medical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan
- Supervise and teach residents and fellows both in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Surgical activities at UMHC, JMH, and VA
- Provide Urology in-patient consultations and emergency on-call
