Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering required
- Experience with 3D modeling CAD software
- Works well in a collaborative design culture
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative new products and extend current product lines
- Work together with team members to develop capable, cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes concurrent to product design activities to insure robust designs are delivered
- Problem solving and failure analysis using engineering analysis tools
- Actively participate in Design Reviews / DFM / DFA for new products
- Proactively compile, prepare and present data for timely project updates and technical presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Co-op / Internship experience
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or 3DX
- Exposure to Failure Analysis, FEA, DRBFM, FMEA, DOE, and DFMA
- Ability to apply engineering principles, i.e. fluid, mechanical, and thermal
- Interpretation of statistics related to manufacturing processes and part design
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Tolerance stack-up and analysis
