Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 0 years related experience and/or high school diploma with 4 + years of relevant experience may be considered
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Security clearance within a reasonable time frame based on company/program requirements
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain program clearance, secret access program (SAP)
  • Must be proficient within all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to present status and actions to internal functions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree within 3 years related experience or Master’s degree with 1 year related experience and/or high school diploma with 7 + years of relevant experience may be considered
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify raw material and component requirements from engineering specifications, schedule and bills of material (BOMs)
  • Initiate Request for Quotations (RFQs) and analyze proposed pricing from potential suppliers
  • Generate, track, and actively status all orders to ensure adherence to schedule, quantity and invoicing timing
  • Review status of projects, manage schedules, prepares status reports and present to leadership
  • Assess and identify supply chain related Program risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies to meet Program goals and objectives
  • Coordinate and proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure program procurement objectives are met
  • Handle program requests with urgency, ensuring tasks are completed quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to details avoiding errors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a refresh/update within the last 6 years
  • Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 specific to government property accountability
  • Familiar with SAP business system to view the details of purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipts
  • Experience working with Engineering on advance procurement planning
  • Experience hosting meetings up to senior management level providing part shortages and identifying roadblocks, and finding solutions to mitigate
  • Ability to successfully perform and pivot in a robust engineering test environment
  • Capability to build BOMs from engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated capability and proven success in problem solving
