Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible national account sales experience (retail preferred)
- Knowledge of POS metrics and ability to use data to grow sales within assigned accounts base
- Ability/desire to manage business unit, cross functional projects as assigned by supervisor and Executive Leadership Team
- Ownership mindset regarding all aspect of customer accounts and proactively manages daily priorities
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed quarterly, semi-annual, and annual sales and profitability targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers at each assigned account
- Act as a liaison between FBIN Security and account base, collaborating with teams across Sales, Product, Channel, RGM, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
- Assist in planning, creating, and delivering comprehensive product line review presentations for each product category
- Optimize product transition costs, including markdowns, buybacks, displays, returns, and logistics
- Communicate key initiatives that may impact the forecast, and actively participate in monthly forecast meetings
- Utilize store visits, data resources, and networking to gain insights into competitors’ strategies, including pricing, merchandising, and new products
- Serve as a resource for information on key customer initiatives within FBIN Security, acting as the voice of the customer
- Manage category-wide initiatives and rollouts, coordinating with applicable customer in-store service teams and independent representative agencies as needed
- Apply financial knowledge to achieve favorable outcomes and propose effective solutions based on facts and financial viability
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)
- Background in consumer durables, FMCG, or building materials is strongly preferred
