Requirements
- Associates degree in a stem field or 3+ years related work experience.
- 1+ years’ experience in the field of simulation, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or trainers, and/or 3+ years in Aircraft Avionics Maintenance.
- 1+ years’ experience in troubleshooting and testing hardware and software.
- 1+ years’ experience with electronic/electrical systems.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training device.
- Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted equipment.
- Assist with repair and test, install, configure, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
- Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components.
- Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components.
- Work under limited supervision.
