Associate Legal Counsel

JD from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in your state of residence
2–3 years of legal experience (in-house or fintech/payments background a plus)
Comfortable managing a high volume of diverse, detail-oriented workstreams
Strong communicator who can explain legal concepts clearly and concisely
Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working cross-functionally
Interest in technology, AI, privacy, security, and/or product-focused legal work
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including vendor contracts, technology agreements, partnership agreements, and NDAs
Evaluating software tools and services, particularly those with AI-related functionality
Providing Legal oversight of vendor questionnaires and assisting with review of RFPs, RFIs, and other information requests from clients and prospects
Responding to subpoenas, UCC lien notices, and similar third-party legal requests
Maintaining and updating internal policies, including UDAAP, Privacy and Security policies and supporting related training initiatives in partnership with HR
Managing consumer data requests and providing guidance for internal data privacy inquiries
Handling ad hoc legal needs from HR, such as handbook updates and consulting agreements
Supporting marketing projects, such as press releases, white papers, and campaigns
