Requirements

  • Skilled at informing and influencing internal and external audiences through written and oral communications.
  • Aptitude to apply a non-partisan, evidence-based approach to research projects and outreach activities that require support across the political spectrum.
  • Experience in contributing to a team working on complex projects and achieving measurable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, one year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a work environment that is diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible and in line with Pew and the project’s related goals.
  • Conduct research, synthesize information, and contribute to the drafting of research projects focused on the impact of climate change and other emerging risks on state budgets.
  • Provide support for teamwide project management of large complex projects.
  • Support the project’s efforts to manage grants and contracts.
  • Participate in activities that support program and Pew-wide objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled at developing and managing productive and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience with basic research practices and familiarity with public policy topics preferred.
  • Demonstrated time- and project-management skills, including a capacity to meet multiple deadlines by maintaining a high level of organization.
