Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Life Insurance License (LLQP)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of Life and Living Benefits Insurance Products
- Experience with marketing programs to build business social awareness
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute towards sales targets assigned to Estate Planning Specialist (EPS) and to overall success of the team.
- Manage end-to-end insurance sales process for recommended solutions, ie. Living benefits, permanent insurance and term Insurance.
- Policy delivery to clients.
- Preparation of materials (Illustrations & concepts) for meetings with prospects and clients.
- Analyze client cases and make appropriate recommendations.
- Plan and manage day to day activities in EPS’ absence.
- Plan weekly/monthly business meetings, develop agendas.
- Review all documentation and correspondence filing procedures and ensure an organized system is in place.
- Support inforce servicing through client reviews and respond to requests.
- Ensure client inquiries and any problems are responded to in a timely manner and that all activity is recorded in a contact management system.
- Increase awareness of Wealth Management Financial Services and develop new business opportunities through 1 on 1 presentations, group/branch presentations, inforce analysis etc.
- Manage pending cases and take the appropriate actions to move clients along in the sales funnel.
- Use internal software to communicate, plan and develop cases work for yourself and EPS.
- Work closely with head office and manager to execute initiatives to generate new sale opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships in region and branches with Investment Advisors (IA), Associate IA’s, Branch Managers/Assistant Branch Managers, Financial Planners, Wholesalers, and other internal & external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience dealing with high-net-worth clients
- 1 year of direct client facing experience
- Product and concept experience with life company illustration software
