Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the CPM space, with at least 2 years in a presales leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of CPM software (e.g., CCH Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM), including financial consolidation, budgeting, planning, and forecasting modules.
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing presales teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting to senior-level decision-makers (CFOs, FP&A directors, etc.).
- Ability to partner effectively with sales teams to drive revenue and support the entire sales cycle.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into actionable presales strategies and demos.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the presales team, including recruiting, mentoring, and driving professional development.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align presales activities with the overall sales strategy.
- Partner with account executives to identify and qualify opportunities, and tailor product demonstrations to meet customer-specific needs.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations to prospects, clearly articulating the value and ROI of the software.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients, helping them understand how the CPM software can solve their financial and operational challenges.
- Provide feedback to the product management and development teams based on customer and market insights to influence the product roadmap.
- Continuously improve presales processes and best practices to ensure efficient use of resources and increased win rates.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA is a plus.
