Requirements

  • 10 + years’ experience in paid media; agency and/or advertiser experience in either area preferred.
  • Ability to track and manage large, complex initiatives requiring the input of multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to listen to and understand fully the needs of internal and external stakeholders and in turn develop thoughtful solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the onboarding, implementation, and upkeep of media and marketing tech platforms and tools.
  • Demonstrated direct team leadership experience, and experience leading indirect teams through influence.

Responsibilities

  • Providing input to individual brands’ marketing strategies and campaign plans, ensuring an effective, modern marketing journey for Sanofi’s customers across multiple channels.
  • Overseeing Sanofi’s media agencies, ensuring efficient and effective media buying on behalf of Sanofi.
  • Agreeing, measuring, monitoring, and reporting on metrics that measure the performance of Media channels.
  • Driving improved media execution processes, improving marketing performance against agreed metrics and targets.
  • Ensuring the sharing of best practice across brands.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest innovations in the Media space, and advising on the integration of these capabilities where they align with Sanofi’s wider objectives.
  • Support the onboarding and upskilling of North America and offshore colleagues.
  • Collaborate with Global, Brand, Digital, and other counterparts as necessary to deliver on responsibilities.
  • Collaborate proactively with OC Ops and other colleagues on improvements to day-to-day marketing operations processes.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling programs.
  • Support the delivery of key transformation programs.
  • Drive excellent working relationships with agency and vendor partners.
  • Drive cultural change through the championing of an agile, customer-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in US Media, preferably at a large pharmaceutical organization
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends
  • Demonstrated experience of managing a large Media budget ($15m+), driving value from agencies
  • Stakeholder engagement across multiple functions
  • Story telling skills to communicate vision, and develop communications plan with clear and concise messages
  • Pharmaceutical and/ or vaccine experience preferred
  • Experience working in Agile team environment
  • Experience in working in a regulated industry
  • Experience managing external vendors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high priority projects at once
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment
