Requirements
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree in the life sciences (e.g., MD, Ph.D., Pharm.D.)
- Medical, scientific or clinical experience in MS/Neurology
- Demonstrated successful experience in Scientific Communications preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience managing external vendors
- Excellent scientific writing skills
- Experience in supervising and managing medical writing tasks
- Knowledge of industry guidelines pertaining to data dissemination (e.g., CONSORT, ICMJE, GPPs) and interactions with health care providers (e.g., PhRMA Code, AdvaMed guidelines)
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert and internal liaison for Neurology
- Lead the strategy, development and execution of medical communication and publication plans for assigned indication(s) in alignment with the overall Medical and Brand strategy
- Constantly explore new channels to inform and educate intended audiences most effectively
- Understand and follow the various compliance policies in place for global and US publications and medical education activities
- Manage external vendors/medical agencies assisting with medical content planning and execution, incl. budget management
