Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- +10 years meaningful IT procurement experience
- CPSM/CPM/CTPE Certification (helpful)
- Solid understanding of sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, Other)
- Ability to use standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Responsibilities
- Support the definition and implementation of IT Category strategy
- Manage discussions related to the IT Category
- Act as a primary point of contact for partners and key suppliers
- Drive value in terms of cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Represent Global Procurement in organizational decisions
- May manage a team of professional level employees
- May mentor and guide on job performance and career development
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience managing category processes and suppliers across a breadth of categories
- Success working effectively with cross-functional teams in IT or related categories
- Insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures
- Experience using external data sources and market information to improve knowledge of supply market dynamics
- Experience operating with integrity and clarity in an environment of ambiguity
- Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes
