Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing or science required
  • 8-10 years of pharmaceutical / biotech experience with a minimum of 5+ years in U.S. pharmaceutical marketing (pre-launch or in-line) or relevant experience
  • Experience in brand marketing/product management is required; product launch experience in rare disease preferred
  • Strong, team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate and work effectively at all levels across the organization
  • Experience in successfully representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory/legal review of launch promotional materials
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical, communication and project management skills to effectively translate ideas and insights into actionable plans
  • Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple functions
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, ability to work on multiple tasks, problem solving ability, comfort in an ambiguous environment, and ability to prioritize effectively to meet organizational objectives
  • Ability to regularly commute into our Cambridge location, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Development, creation and implementation of unbranded education and branded promotional materials to support the healthcare provider (HCP) audience
  • Execution of an HCP marketing strategy, which includes evolving HCP messaging, ensuring HCP education, preparedness, and instills confidence and trust
  • Enhance current CRM platform and digital tactics to enable effective communications that will engage and educate HCPs on the importance of treatment, gene therapy benefits, risks, and steps of the treatment journey
  • Collaborate with Opinion Leader Programming, sales and Insights to integrate KOL perspectives into brand strategies and initiatives
  • Inform strategic recommendations based on market and disease dynamics
  • Identify market research needs, align on market research plans and translate findings into portfolio strategies and forecasting assumptions
  • Work and manage all vendors/agencies successfully and effectively
  • Represent marketing function as the PRC reviewer for promotional materials
  • Perform other related duties as needed
