Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
- 8–12 years of leadership experience in corporate communications roles at a global, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing global communications strategies that deliver measurable business results and reputational impact
- Proven success in earned media and executive visibility programs
- Exceptional business writing skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling content
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make thoughtful decisions in fast-paced environments
- High executive presence and experience advising and influencing C-suite leaders
- Strong issue management and crisis communication capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a cohesive, global Corporate Communications strategy that supports corporate priorities and drives business results, including public relations, reputation management, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
- Develop and advance the long-term vision for the Corporate Communications function, ensuring it evolves with the business’s needs and reflects the company’s Purpose and strategic direction.
- Anticipate and identify emerging issues or risks that may impact corporate reputation or commercial operations; lead cross-functional response planning and proactive communications strategies.
- Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leaders, providing counsel, coaching, and high-impact messaging across internal and external forums.
- Craft executive narratives, talking points, op-eds, that reinforce corporate strategy and thought leadership.
- Lead proactive earned media strategy, which leads to strong relationships with national, business, and trade media to secure coverage that highlights innovation.
- Oversee PR agency partnership and manage message consistency across earned media campaigns and reputation-building efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal, Employee Communications, and other key stakeholders to ensure communications are aligned, timely, and strategically integrated.
- Partner with regional communications leads to ensure globally consistent messaging and localized execution.
- Define success metrics and regularly evaluate the performance and impact of communications strategies. Leverage insights to drive continuous improvements.
