Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years legal or risk compliance experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
  • Global compliance risk experience (U.S. and ex-US) (anti-bribery/anti-corruption experience a plus)
  • Strong written and oral communication and influence skills
  • General knowledge and experience with laws, regulations, and compliance policies guiding the conduct of multi-national pharmaceutical companies, including global anti-corruption policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups and stakeholders
  • Expertise with cross-functional implementation of compliance policies and controls
  • Presentation experience in individual or group situations
  • Ability to problem-solve complex issues

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assessment and oversight to ensure Corporate Policies and Ethics and Compliance Organization Global Standards align with enterprise evolving risks; collaborate with corporate policy owners/stakeholders to ensure content and updates are communicated effectively across the enterprise.
  • Promote the development and communication of annual corporate compliance goals that reflect an effective enterprise compliance program; partner with the Ethics and Compliance Organization Operations to track and communicate corporate compliance goal key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support development, maintenance, implementation, and appropriate oversight of select global compliance policies applicable to multiple divisions.
  • Assist with implementation of the Program through iterative assessment and a mindset of constant improvement.
  • Support development and implementation of an end-to-end process for the ongoing assessment and substantive maintenance of Corporate Policies and Global Standards.
  • Create supporting materials for in-scope compliance policies and controls to support effective implementation of the policies through socialization and training.
  • Help identify areas to improve through process automation and simplification and use available data to enhance our ability to identify and mitigate emerging risks.
  • Partner with other risk functions (Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption Oversight, Ethics and Compliance Organization Operations, Audit (the company’s Corporate Audit Assurance Services), International Legal & Compliance; Global Investigations) to support and enhance the Program.
  • Contribute to the development of a strong inclusive team that fosters developmental growth.
