Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics workflows
  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand and interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical insights into business value
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining/profiling

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to support Tableau visualizations and advanced analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all analytics processes and assets
  • Lead initiatives with IT around data transformation toolsets, data(base/lake) platforms to support the management/build out of our analytics data layer
  • Quickly understand and analyze complex data sets to identify relationships and connections between data assets
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and workflows
  • Be a strategic partner to the data governance team around data strategy development and execution
  • Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure data assets are properly structured and documented to align to data strategy
  • Create intuitive and impactful visualizations using business intelligence and advanced analytics tools to communicate data insights effectively and efficiently
  • Collaborate with DADS team to support dashboards and report development and timely diagnose and resolve data issues
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, including accelerated identification of respective data, ingestion and modeling to connect components to provide insights
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to ensure alignment on methodologies and outcomes and help bring enhanced capabilities to the department and organization
  • Act as a liaison between engineering/data enablement teams and DADS team and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts in business terms and vice versa to ensure mutual understanding
  • Identify and implement AI use cases, including identifying opportunities to combine with data from business intelligence environments to enhance decision-making capabilities and provide all inclusive data access to business users
  • Develop and document AI use cases to support advanced, proactive analytics that align with business objectives and provide measurable value.
