Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, management consulting, or corporate strategy
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Skilled in MS Office, including Excel (financial modeling), Word, and PowerPoint (presentation-building)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop compelling presentations
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio of deal opportunities under review by Kroll’s Corporate Development team by performing market, competitive, and financial research to identify and assess acquisition targets
- Assist in drafting investment memos, presentations, and valuation summaries for executive and board review
- Develop financial models to evaluate deal economics
- Help coordinate due diligence efforts across business leaders, legal, finance, HR, and other functions
- Support data room management and information tracking
- Liaise with external advisors, legal counsel, and target company teams
- Assist with integration planning and performance tracking post-closing
- Work closely with FP&A and business leaders to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Work with Strategy Office and partner with business unit leaders to develop strategic plans, market entry proposals, and growth roadmaps
- Support annual strategic planning cycles including executive workshops, financial modeling, and scenario planning
- Analyze market trends, industry shifts, and competitive positioning to inform long-term planning
- Act as an internal consultant on behalf of the Executive Leadership Team for critical growth and innovation initiatives
