Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above
Responsibilities
- Program development through collaboration with Head Coach
- Maintain and communicate in-depth knowledge of the medical and strength and conditioning profiles of student-athletes
- Commitment to the academic and athletic progress and performance of the individual student-athletes and the team
- Collaborate with the Head Coach in the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of prospective student-athletes
- Develop team strategies and individual player development
- Recruiting duties as assigned
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with coaching staff, athletic administration staff and other university personnel
- Maintain a professional and positive image of Southeastern Athletics, specifically the women’s basketball program
- Follow established departmental policies and procedures
- Commitment to work with diversity
- Ability to work nights/evening, weekends and holiday
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics
